John is a very capable and versatile builder, he keeps the job moving and always has the solutions to that whole range of little issues and problems that arise on big alteration jobs. We asked J Cole Builders to build us a closed in porch at our back door - it has turned out much better than we expected! It's more like an extra room, complete with covered landing.
It adds value to our house, adds extra room and looks great.
We thought it was a small job, but really it is a small house - it still has four walls, a roof, guttering, door, covered landing and stairs.
The job started on time and John and his team were great coming up with ideas to improve on the plans we already had. They also worked well with council, so we had no problem receiving our Code of Compliance soon after the job was finished.
J Cole Builders are also very trustworthy - we had no problem leaving them a key to the house while we were at work.
We would use them again for any building work we might have in the future.

Throughout the whole renovation process on our family home, John and his team @ J Cole Builders were professional, on time, on budget and very approachable. We really appreciated John’s honesty around our building project which helped decision making that much easier. We would have no hesitation to use him again and will always refer him onto friends and relatives as his workmanship speaks for itself.
We also had John install built-in wardrobes in all three bedrooms. He made some suggestions to the design which helped them blend in with the character of the house and they look as if they've always been there.
He was also very helpful organising subcontractors to plaster and paint. We certainly recommend him and his team to anyone who wants their house rennovated with care and attention.
